Knowledge Graph & Linked Data Engineer
Dubai, UAE · Senior / Lead · Associate or Partner Engagement
You are the technical backbone of our client engagements. You design, build and implement knowledge graphs and data architectures where data sovereignty, access control and trust are not secondary concerns — they are the core of the assignment. You operate within a multidisciplinary ecosystem of specialist partners and serve as a credible conversation partner for senior stakeholders — translating technical complexity into clear business value.
What You Will Do
Design and build knowledge graphs for enterprise clients across Government, Finance, Healthcare, Transport & Mobility, Energy & Utilities and Smart Cities
Model domain ontologies and taxonomies using RDF(S), OWL and SKOS
Implement SPARQL endpoints and graph queries for real-time insight and reasoning
Apply SHACL for data validation and quality assurance
Contribute to tokenized trust infrastructure and zero-trust security architecture
Support clients in achieving data sovereignty — on-premises, private or sovereign cloud — based on what they need and what regulation requires
Connect knowledge graphs to agentic AI workflows and conversational AI platforms
Support RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations backed by knowledge graph infrastructure
Advise clients on responsible AI deployment: transparency, traceability and explainability
What You Bring
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, knowledge graphs or linked data
- Hands-on experience with RDF(S), OWL, SKOS, SHACL and SPARQL
- Strong skills in data modelling and ontology design for complex domains
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and an understanding of sovereign and private cloud alternatives
- Excellent command of English — written and spoken
- Self-directed and proactive; comfortable in a boutique or entrepreneurial environment
Samture-Specific Requirements
Experience with enterprise graph databases and their reasoning capabilities
Knowledge of tokenized access control, verifiable credentials or decentralized identity (W3C DID)
Understanding of why open standards strengthen data sovereignty — and the ability to articulate this to government and enterprise stakeholders
Experience with RAG pipelines, LLM orchestration or vector databases
Prior experience in the GCC or MENA region Knowledge of UAE or GCC data and AI regulation (PDPL, DPDPA)
Engagement & Terms
Samture works with independent professionals and consultants on an associate or partner basis. If you already operate through your own entity — UAE freezone or otherwise — that is an immediate fit.
